Perfect amount of smoke. Really smooth mouth feel with a solid malt backbone.

Had at blnd tiger- pours a slightly hazy amber color, two fingers of off white head, decent retention and nice lacing.
Smell is nice- faintly smoky and a little sweet. A little earthy yeast going on too.
Tastes nice as well- more of a malt forward beer with a little less smoke than I imagined (just used to schlenkerla I guess). Caramel malts dominate, there's a little campfire smoke and then a little American hop action.
Medium bodied, modestly carbonated. This is a nice beer, and I got it out of curiosity but I wouldn't seek it out.

The beer comes in a dark amber color.
The aroma is fantastic of smoked malt, a hint of that oily fatty bacon.
The flavor follows with a good amount of baconey goodness and smoked malt with a light clean body. A good amount of bready malt in there as well.
It's a clean beer, but a wonderfully well crafted smoked beer. Pleasantly impressed.

Smoked Lager-Growler picked up at the brewery a few hours ago-new one from PB, thought I'd give it a try...
Pours heavily hazed amber with a dull ruby hue, medium khaki head, that leaves nice looking thicker strands of lacing all up and down the glass.
Mild earth, smoke and saw dust on the nose.
Moderate smoke, malty, drying hops in the finish. Well done-more quality suds from PB
