We have long been fans of pairing hops and coffee. Finding the balance in the complex aromas and flavors is a truly rewarding challenge. This IPA, made in collaboration with our friends at The Pantry, located in Cold Spring NY, is delicious and perfect for sharing…or drinking, while hiding from your family in the kitchen pantry.

A: The beer is quite hazy yellowish amber in color. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left a lacy web of bubbles covering the surface and lots of rings of lacing around the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of coffee beans are present in the nose—they are definitely on the lighter roast side—along with underlying hints of caramel malts.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of fruity coffee flavors along with hints of caramel malts and a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really liked this IPA as it really exhibited lots of fruity coffee flavors without hardly any roasted notes and it wasn't that heavy on the palate.
