From the can it pours a golden color with a slight haze. The moderate head retains well.
Hops forward aromas are redolent of the IPA style. There are notes of bright citrus fruit along with dank and herbal notes of grass and pine. There are also notes of bready malt.
The taste opens with an assertive yet pleasant hops bitterness. Hops forward all around with bright, juicy and pithy notes of grapefruit, orange and lemon. Dry and crisp cracker malt backbone supports grassy, piney and resiny herbal spices. Medium bodied, crisp mouthfeel and moderately carbonated. The finish is crisp and dry with a resiny bitterness.
Delightful! It’s like an India Pale Lager due to its bright and tasty hops flavors-so IPA like- yet clean, crisp and refreshing like a Lager. I would love to have it again and also happy to support this brewery’s fight against racial injustice.

A: The beer is somewhat hazy light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short bright white head that left specks of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grassy hops are present in the nose along with notes of spicy hops.
T: The taste follows the smell and is dominated by flavors of grassy hops along with notes of spicy hops. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-body and a bit clean on the palate and has a moderate amount fo carbonation with some dryness in the finish.
O: This beer is quite hoppy but has a nice clean mouthfeel from the lager.
