Younger sibling to the Easter Standard which sacrifices none of it’s signature hop flavor and aroma. Feel free to reach for another of this low alcohol content light bodied Half-IPA.

On tap at brewery: Pours a hazy pale honey with a finger of head that dissipates to a solid cap with a fair bit of lacing throughout. Citrus floral aroma. Taste follows nose.

On tap at Peekskill.
This was easily the best brew I had during my visit to Peekskill, which is strange considering the weakness of the other two Standard IPAs.
Pale yellow pour, cloudy, not too different in appearance from the Eastern Standard, topped with a foamy white head; good retention and a bit of lacing on the glass. Pine needles and lemon in the nose, light biscuity malts. Though light on the palate, there was a lot of good, fresh flavor in this beer (again, made me wonder how this could be related to the other two), lemony and bright, with a grainy malt backdrop. This is what a session IPA is supposed to be. Light-medium body, crisp and clean, overall quite enjoyable.
