Dark walnut leaning on black. Mottled cream and mocha colored head. Too bad it's short lived.
Good coffee flavored soda. Cries creaminess, but fibishes dry and crisp with just a touch of rye derived spiciness. Blended together with good chocolate syrup.

On draft at The Ginger Man, NYC.
Poured a deep black hue with a one finger foamy off white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured soft roasted malts and a touch of rye spice.
The taste offered a dry charcoal and a full rye spice.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side if the style.
Overall a very tasty rye driven dry stout.
