First had: on tap at their brewpub
Labeled as a Belgian-style sour. 13oz. pour yielded a mostly clear, mahogany color with a small off-white head. Aroma of bready malts, herbal hops, and just a bit of cherry...not at all dominant like a kriek or full-blown Flanders sour. Taste was similar, bready malts, caramel, cherries that were mildly tart and well-balanced, herbal and earthy hops notes. Medium body and pretty smooth on the carbonation. Solid and decently drinkable.
