First had: on tap at the brewery
Dark amber-brown pour, translucent at the edges, capped with a thin off-white head; minimal retention and a bit of lacing. Light aroma, somewhat muted, dark roasted malts, subtle notes of grass. In the taste, watered-down burnt caramel, herbal hops, Belgian yeast, light notes of indistinct fruit and/or diacetyl. Not bad, but not really too flavorful, and didn't really scream "saison" at me. It was still an easy-drinking brew, light-medium body, decent overall.
