Purchased from Ingles as a 24oz can for $2.95. Poured into a tulip glass.

L - Pours an orange-yellow with a slight haze, and a two-finger off-white head that goes away rather quickly.
S - Fermented mango. A bit of grassiness.
T - Sweet mango, followed by an underlying wheat note. Finish is on the grassy side and relatively dry.
F - Light-medium body, with light carbonation. Super drinkable and refreshing.
O - If there were ever a beer that would best pair with a wood-tip wine-flavored Black & Mild, this would be the perfect match. It's not quite like Yuengling itself, as the base beer tastes rather cheap. It's refreshing, and if I wanted to get day drunk on gas station beer, this would be a solid go-to. As such, this is a good choice for day drinking at a music festival or related event.

24 ounce can into IPA glass. Canned on 1/19/2021. Pours Slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 2-3 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas and flavors of juicy mango fruit with some cracker/lightly biscuity malts and herbal/woody/grassy hops. Nose was a lot more vibrant on the authentic mango fruit. Light-medium herbal, woody, grassy bitterness and minimal fruit tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; very crisp/clean/refreshing. Perfectly clean lager flavors. No cloying/astringent flavors. This is basically just a Pils with some mango added. I'd take it every day over the amber lager.

Pours a clear golden-orange color. Remarkably effervescent. Thin two to three finger sudsy off-white head. Head retention is not all that great. Aroma has notes of sweet mango, mango syrup, not much else beyond that. Taste follows the nose with lots of mango flavor - not sweet - overlying a rather neutral underlying beer. Yuengling actually says this is a pils base beer with mango added. There are some earthy, piney hops on the back end. The mango, which can sometimes have a slight piney flavor definitely has that here with the hops accenting it. I do not personally like the interplay of the underlying pilsner and the mango flavoring in this, but I can see how this wold be refreshing on a hot day. Feel is light to moderately bodied. Crisp carbonation, but on the other hand, its somewhat syrupy. Overall its not a beer I would personally want to drink again - I just didn't love the way the mango is integrated into the beer.

Walking around Busch Gardens in the heat and headed in for some draught.. Incredible taste and very thirst quenching. 6% has a good kick especially when beers are 12$ for a draught in Busch Gardens. Mango after taste and not thick but wet. Would never guess it was a pilsner but thought it was a wit beer.. Nope, so its good on gout sufferers. Just found it in 12pk cans at Publix. You bet I bought it! Ahhhhhh.. This is a sober review.

I was hoping this was gonna be on par with magic hats #9 (hint of apricot). It falls short. Its not bad, but isn’t anything special. It’s a nice novelty, nothing more.

When you take a sniff of this beer, I mean a really good sniff, it's like smelling a just peeled mango. Sweet with that expectation of deliciousness when you start biting into it. Well, when you start drinking this, it ain't all that sweet (no big deal) but it does have an off flavor that I can't quite put my finger on. Overall, it's really not a bad beer, though I had higher hopes than what it reached.

Poured chilled from 24oz can int a mug and willybecker
Color is translucent golden with thick white cream head that drops to ring of beads

Smells like mango with sweet candy like scent and mild malt odor

the feel is slightly sweet at first with medium carbonation and subtle synthetic texture with mild warmth of alcohol in dry finish

Tastes like mango candy dipped on an adjunct lager with mild corn pop sweet flavor yet clean yeast and subtle alcohol and carbonic acid in the semidry finish

This is pretty good, as in it exceeded my expectations ...it is better than a malternative but the extract taste leaves a lot to be desired

Well it's exactly as expected their pilsner-style beer with an almost white claw effervescent mango flavoring. Has a weird skunky Hoppy aftertaste I didn't expect which balanced after a while but also blocked most of mango flavoring as well. Not really the saddest fruit beer I have ever drank but nothing I would pick up again. At the same price point of their traditional lager I would rather Grab A pounder of that

I think Yuengling has hit this one right on the head. Most flavored beers I have had just have not fit the label on the can or bottle. This beer is smooth and has an amazing taste. Not over powering but not weak to where you cannot taste the Mango. This goes well with dinner or a hot summers day. I def. recommend!

Raging Eagle Mango brewed by, Yuengling Brewery. This brew has an ABV of 6.00 % The brew pours out of a 24oz can into a pint beer glass. The color is a nice golden amber color with a nice white head. There is also a nice amount of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is rich with mango sweetness mixed with grains and malts. Not picking up much on the hops in the brew, not saying that is a bad thing. So far Raging Eagle Mango is a nice inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You do pick up a lot of the mango sweetness at first , then it smooths out with the grains an malts. The body of Raging Eagle Mango is a solid medium. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to it. I like how smooth this one goes down with the higher ABV. The mouth feel is Rich, Sweet, Mango, Bold, Smooth and Refreshing. This brew would go nice on a hot summer day or with a lunch or light dinner. Overall I am going to give Raging Eagle Mango a solid 4 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again givin the opportunity to. Yuengling Brewery, did a super nice job with this style of brew.

Interesting. I was expecting a malt liquor taste but it's just beer with a slight mango taste. It's not bad, but it's just not good either. It's like something that the world didn't need, but got anyways.

Smells like mango hooka tobacco (shisha). Tastes like someone took a bunch of stale, skunked beers and added cheap mango flavoring. It has 6%, but all it did was give me a stomach ache. I couldn't even drink 8oz of it. I mostly drink yuengling and really enjoy their other beers, including the Flight and Porter... To say this disappointed me is an understatement.

(24 oz can, code 210193321447; purchased cold... split between a fat tulip and 14 oz mug)

L: clear, yellow-amber liquid, with a mild haze; explosive foam build on the pour, however, it crumbles into a spitty, broken scum... virtually no collar left prior to first sips... no lace, duh; kinda looks like wizz

S: initial odd aroma when the tab popped, but it settles into a generic, wine-cooler like, mango essence, with the bland base beer actually poking up from below, getting in the way of the artificial fruit aroma... that odd aroma colors the overall bouquet - vinyl pool liner?

T: even worse than expected (but better from the mug)... like an unholy marriage of car air freshener and their sad 'pilsner'... it does improve as it gasses off, ending up tasting like a hybrid wine cooler and crackery adjunct lager, the fruit end of which carries a delicate sweetness, fairly short of candy-like... strange, but the (bitter) mango expression slowly improves as well... the aftertaste - the flavoring on a cheap pale cigar?

F: mellow, microscopic sizzle with each sip... inflated, buoyant, lazy, light-bodied contour... slides and slopes... marginal residual film

O: clearly not meant to be poured into and sippled from a glass... at least the fruit flavor and sugar is reigned in enough to where this falls quite short of alco pop terroir... I will of course try this again (it's cheap and powerful), but I'll swill it icy from the cylinder... (1735)

Yuengling Brewery "Raging Eagle Mango"
24 fl. oz.can coded "21048320752"
$2.29 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ

Notes via stream of consciousness: So what is this? Is Yuengling trying to enter the 'malt liquor' market? It sure looks like it with a name like "Raging Eagle". It's only 6% though. I wonder if they have any other flavors. And will this hurt their reputation? Whatever... it's poured a mostly clear deep golden body beneath a short head of white. I could smell the "mango" as I was pouring it so let me just check to make sure that it is indeed artificial flavor - yep. It smells like candy. I'm thinking apricot, but mango, yeah I can see that. It's a pretty bright aroma and I can't imagine it tasting much different but here we go... yeah, it's definitely got a dandyish mango flavor to it, but it also tastes like beer. There's some bitterness to it, and to be honest I'm not sure that's a good thing considering what it appears they're trying to do here. I don't find the mango flavor to be bad but it is artificial. It tastes more like mango than it smells, BTW. There's a bit of graininess to the sweet malt but I'm not really finding much else. It's kind of odd really, with that bitterness in there beneath the artificial mango flavoring. It smells and tastes like candy, and it's sweet, but then there's the bitterness that jostles it a bit. Hmmm. It does dry in the finish but it takes a moment for the sweetness to fade. I'd imagine that if you drank a few of these it could become cloying. Of course I couldn't imagine anyone actually doing that given that I'm already bored with it. It's a one-trick-pony and the trick isn't that good to begin with. Whatever. The head has long since dropped, and there's not a whole lot of lacing left behind. It's medium-full in body and crisp. I won't argue the price, but if it's the take-away single-can cheap-alcohol market that they're trying to break into they've got a lot of competition out there and this ain't gonna be the one to win.

Raging Eagle has a thick, soapy, off-white head, a clear, bubbly, gold appearance, and no lacing. The aroma is of mango and pale malt. The taste is of mango and spicy hop bitterness, with underlying white bread. The fruit flavor fades, as one sips it down. Raging Eagle has a medium body and a very dry finish.
