Clear golden yellow pour, with about an inch of fizzy white head that disappeared within seconds, leaving the beer looking a bit dead. Grape juice aroma. The taste was white wine grapes and a little sour apple. Not too sour. Mouthfeel was a little sticky, and the lower carbonation didn't really help much. Good overall, but left me wanting a little more. Probably my least favorite of this series that I've had so far.

750 ml bottle poured into a teku. No freshness date
Appearance: Pours a pale yellow color with less than a finger of a fizzy, soda like head that dissipates instantly to nothing. Body is mostly clear with some moderate carbonation.
Smell: White grape and lots of it. Also some oak, citrus and grass. There's also a buttery character that could be diacetyl or more likely just from the wine barrels.
Taste: Huge tartness, but not of the mouth puckering sour variety. Flavor follows the aroma. White grape, buttery white wine, oak and a tiny bit of lemon.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied but with a slight creaminess. Medium fine, prickly carbonation. Finishes dry.
Overall: Not amazing, but still a nice sour ale. Grapes and wine barrel character dominates here.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Mostly clear, a little hazy. Yellow body. No head.
Smell - Some citrus. White wine-like grapes. Doesn't smell all that sour.
Taste - Citrus right up front. Lemon. Immediately a very strong grape flavor. Very white-winey. White wine lingers into the finish.
Mouthfeel - Low carbonation. Moderate sourness.
Overall - It's kinda monotone on a flavor that isn't interesting enough. It's all grape.

Wow, this is some tangy shit. Not where it should be imo, just not as honed in as as I would have hoped.
