Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden. Pours murky yellow with a half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to light ring, leaving small streaks of lace on the glass.
Smells of grapefruit pulp, light must and funk, lemony lactic sourness, bit of hay and some grainy malt. Taste is pretty much the same with the grapefruit and lactic sourness up front slowly being joined by the other flavors. Tart, dry feel with some nice fruitiness backing it up.
Overall a really nice fruited sour. The grapefruit holds up very well to the base sour and it remains very easy to consume. One of the better sours of recent memory.
