Pours with a copper/amber body topped with a white head. The head retention was minimal from a crowler, but I would anticipate better in a draft serving. Warm aromas of cinnamon and sugar blend with lemon zest, yeast funk, and hints of cardamom for a really great nose. I could sniff this beer all day long. The flavor profile is solid farmhouse ale with a huge yeast presence that manifests as a biscuit taste that is met with lavender and just a faint amount of cinnamon. Another solid beer from Al's/Pizza Boy that is really enjoyable during cold weather.
