A – A hazy gold with deep foamy head that lasts well dying as you drink and leaving mild lacing in the process. No carbon activity in the glass.
S – Great sweet malts. Caramel, candy sugar with some spiced banana, mango and apricot followed by a little lemon grass.
T – Really good clove notes along with banana. This is followed up by lemon grass, apricot on this front with caramel sweet malts. There is good balance between the malt and hops and a tiny bitter nip at the beck end which for a stout/bitter man is really very nice!
MF – Creamy and full in the mouth with a warming edge, but not in the solvent way or carbon tingle way. Really good linger that goes on and on.
O – This goes down very easy but it has amazing flavour. The triple to many is a Belgian affair but I maintain the Dutch do it better!
