In addition to a sunny, pink hue, this new charitable ale showcases bright notes of sweet, ripe raspberry to accompany the refreshing, slightly-tart nature of freshly-squeezed lemonade. A portion of the proceeds from this refreshing brew are donated to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to further Alex's mission.

Pours murky, gold in color with one inch head. Taste reminds me of an firecracker popsicle...lemon and blue raspberry. Light bodied, slightly sour, moderate carbonation. A summery treat. Excellent for what it is...brings back nostalgia. I like.

Had on tap at Frisco Taphouse in Gambrills. Light pinkish/orange color with an off-white head. Aroma and flavor offer light but definite raspberry and lemon flavors, along with some wheaty malt. It's a fairly tame beer, but that's all right.

12 oz can from Pennsylvania.
Appearance. Slightly hazy orange-amber colored body with a fair amount of sediment, presumably from the fruit additions.
This is a fruity and mildly tart ale that features lemon with subtle raspberry notes. Moderate hop bitterness.

Notes via stream of consciousness: "ALE BREWEDWITH RASPBERRY, LEMON & NATURAL FLAVORS". It's poured a murky golden/orange colored body beneath a short head of white that's dropping into nothing before my eyes. The aroma is pleasant with both lemon and raspberry but that's all I'm getting. On to the taste then... the flavorings appear as artificial, which is OK but not great. The malt is sweet, bready and biscuity. I'm not sure how well the flavorings work with the malt but I guess it's OK. It's sweet, a little bit tart, and then there is bitterness to it in the end. It finishes with some sweetness lingering but also bitterness. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation. It's a decent enough beer overall, probably best for summer or as a dessert beer, and a portion of the proceeds goes to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for childhood cancer so it's for a good cause.

From the tap into a clear pint glass, should be an easy review. However, Fergie’s Pub is dark, so the orange-amber color description is only a good guess. It is probably always opaque in any light and there's definitely little lasting head. Lemon outdoes the raspberry to smell and there's a little sour beer there, too. The taste isn't as sweet as originally feared, nor is it very tart or sour. Yes, there is something included that tastes like beer. The raspberry bounces back in the flavor, perhaps even matching the lemon. This isn't exactly what you might expect it to be. It's more beer and less fruit. In this case, that's a good thing. This is a brew that tastes like a beer with some lemon and raspberry in it. It's not a fruited sour made with lemons and raspberry. It is OK.
