Canned July 6th, 2016.
Deep gold colour, crystal clear, nice head of foam.
Smells herbal with tropical fruit and onion. Very dank.
Resiny hop oil like taste. Tropical fruit with big dankness, some sweetish flavour and some light bread. Alcohol pretty noticable.
Slick mouthfeel.
A good IPA.

Tropical, Hoppy, Resiny, Herbal
Part of Upslope's Lee Hill Taproom Series, Mosaic IPA drops from its 19.2 ounce can as a bright, orange-y beer topped with a creamy head. Fresh tropical fruit aromas dominate with a hefty dose of resiny pine and dankness. Viscous on the palate with a nice chew. It opens up malty sweet with some toasty caramel, but the Mosaic hops quickly crush this with overripe pineapple and melon, peach skin, and a sticky, herbal astringency with earthy undertones. Dry and resiny in the finish with a bitter, bready, and semi-boozy linger that seems to last forever. So damn fruity and hoppy.

Copper-hued body; thin, wispy white head. Sugary sweet aroma; fruity and candy-like. Subtle sweetness with a huge hop bitterness; light touches of berry fruits and pine; some alcohol presence. Medium body; coarse and biting; mostly dry finish.
This is a low-key beer and rather subtle with the flavors other than the strong hop bitterness. Pretty good overall.

A little darker and maltier than I generally prefer. But much like fresh squeezed from Deschutes this gives the mosaic a sweet juiciness that I really enjoy. Where the sweetness might normally weight it down, it delivers huge hop flavor of melon, mango up front with resinous pine on the back. great bitterness that comes with the pine.
