Served as part of a sampler tray at the brewpub. In a 3oz glass.
A--clear gold body and a light wisp of a head.
S--Nice hop smell. clean
T--nice hop flavor in the beginning and the end, good malt in the middle.
M--medium body, very light carbonation
D--out of all of Bube's stuff. This really stood out as quite authentic. Great session beer.

Enjoyed on-tap at the brewpub.
Served as a deep reddish-brown colored beer witgh moderate slightly off-white head.
Smell is light with some modest caramel notes present.
Taste is notable for a nice caramel sweetness and a touch of hops in the background.
Very easy to drink. Good session beer.

What a pleasant surprise the new brewer is doing something right. This ESB is on the sweeter side of the spectrum but I like it that way.
Appearance: Served and attractive clear amber orange with a decent head and noteworthy but minimal lacing.
Smell: Caramel sweetness in the malts stands out the most with a light English hop note.
Taste: Smooth caramel malt with an ever so light hop prickles here and there and then a noticeable citric hop presence in the back end. Finally in the finish there is hops and the aftertaste left me with a hint of mint.
Mouthfeel: A malty body with mint hops on the cheeks.
Drinkability: While I may have enjoyed the stout flavor the most, if I were choosing which beer to drink a pitcher of, this would be the one. Refreshing and easy and yet pleasing. Nice Job new brewer at Bube's.
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!

A new offering from Bube's Brewery.
A: The ale is an amber colored brew, more orange than red, with a 1/2 finger's worth of head that does not retain in the glass.
S: The aroma is earthy hops with a grainy maltiness.
T: The ale has a very subtle hop flavor on first sip, providing a bit of a punch without a strong grapefruit flavor. The hops are spicy but earthy, avoiding the NW US varietals. The hops are built on top of a biscuity malt body that is strong enough to provide a good balance to the hops.
M: The flavors mix well together, allowing for a hoppy sensation that does not overpower the tastebuds. The malts are chewy and reserved.
D: I'd say that this is the best Bube's beer that I've had. Like the others it is serviceable and easy to drink without blowing my socks off (in either a good or bad sense). I had 2 pints and was pleased.
