On tap at Bube's on 3/3/12.
Pours a clear reddish copper with a moderate light tan head. Subtle aroma of caramel, biscuit, grain and overall sweet. Flavor has a little more complexity than the nose, caramel, grainy malt, dried fruit and earthiness. Slightly thin body with moderate carbonation. Easy drinking, but overall, forgettable.

On tap at the Bubes Brew Pub. Listed as the Bubes Pipers Baine Scottish Ale.
Poured a deeper amber color with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, earthy, and grainy. Tastes of lighter earthiness, nutty, toffee and caramel.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub.
Served as a reddish-brown beer with moderate tannish head.
Smell is on the sweet side, without being too thick or cloying.
Taste has sone nice caramel notes, with only a very light hop presence detected.
A nice middle of the road beer.
