We fermented an oat rich sour ale with our house ale yeast, then added brettanomyces trois in the secondary fermentation along with passion fruit. Grains of paradise were also into the mix, giving this beer a tropical, floral yet woody character. This beer bridges those who don’t really like beer to craft beer.

Copenhagen 8/10 2022. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Purple can with a lot of fruit floating around and two sets of hairy legs.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy patch of foam unable of covering much of anything. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a perfumed sweet scent of tropical fruits with light tart notes. Passion fruit and mango in abundance. Vanilla and hints coconut. Citrus and tart currants.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, bit greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly, more moderate, tart sourness, Aftertaste issuer with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A quite sweet Fruit Punch.

look: one finger rocky white head which dissipates at a reasonable speed, beer is a dark amber colour, lightly hazy, decent levels of carbonation in the beer.
smell: so much fresh juicy passionfruit, really nice, quite sweet, golden syrup, strawberry, raspberry, cherry, quite tart, brown bread malt, biscuit, caramel, smells nice.
taste: wow that’s actually way more subdued than i was anticipating, passionfruit and other sweet fruit flavours totally dominate, tart but sour is a reach, caramel, brown bread malt, light to medium bitterness on the finish, so so.
feel: light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, really dry, drinkable and refreshing, hint of alcohol warming.
overall: a let down for sure, a sub par fruited sour from lervig, but i mean, does what it says on the tin i suppose.

De 32gp. En Precise Resort El Rompido. Acidez marcada pero no hasta llegar al punto de desagradar, con notas a fruta de la pasión frescas. 7% abv muy bien oculto, resultando ligera de beber y no subiéndose apenas a la cabeza.

Pours a pale mahogany coloration with a ruby hue and a medium, fizzy head that quickly fades to nothing. Smells of very light caramel malt, tangy passion fruit and just a hint of citric acidity. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by sweet'ish, very lightly caramelly malt and vibrant, tart passion fruit, as well as just a hint of citrus. Finishes quite sweet, with a light tartness and some passion fruit lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a bit too sweet and not quite tart/acidic enough for my personal taste, while also feeling just a tad artificial and too high in ABV for the style. Still a decent Kettle Sour, but doesn't come together all that well.

Pours a clear, amber/orange colour. Smells like very tart passion fruit and tangerines. Tastes a little dry and crisp up front, much less sour than expected, still a nice tart passion fruit flavour, but much more subtle.

Smells like passion fruit, but also like a wine cooler. Definitely more tang than sour. It would be a decent drink on the beach somewhere, but that's about it.

Dark amber color, slightly hazy, almost no head. Aroma has intense passion fruit, smells like a soda with some beer in the background. Taste falls also a bit towards soda territory but slightly more tart and bitter on the finish. Medium to light bodied with medium to high effervescence. Not really well put together. Also a bit too artificial and the alcohol warms a bit.
