Served in a Great Crescent pint glass
This beer is very dark brown. It has two inches of tan head that leaves no lacing.
The smell has caramel and toffee with some chocolate.
The taste has dark fruit flavors. Plum and dark black cherry come to mind. The bourbon flavors some through in the finish and aftertaste. I get some caramel and vanilla. The coconut has faded.
It has a full mouthfeel.
This is a decent beer. It is disappointing that the coconut has faded, but the bourbon adds new flavors that make it worth a try.
