I've had this from a four pack and also on tap.
Appears hazy orange.
Smells citrusy, sweet and piney.
Tastes citrus, sweet and piney.
Mouth feel is light medium.
Overall in a can or on tap pretty tasty and I would definitely buy or order on tap again.

One of their Takeoff Series brews. Available in pint can 4-packs, at least regionally, or on tap at Aviator's Tap Room and Aviator Smokehouse (I bought my cans at my grocery in Fuquay-Varina, Aviator's hometown). Mine was surprisingly cloudy in appearance, almost like a Hefeweizen, with a lacy, long-lasting head. Great citrus hops aroma with a piney edge to the flavor (Simcoe?). I'm embarrassed to say I've never encountered a "New England" style IPA, as they're calling it, so I can't say if it's typical or not. It's certainly a solid IPA with a balanced malt/hops mouthfeel and pleasantly bitter hops finish. This brewery is pretty reliable in their craftsmanship, if somewhat given lately to the trend for oddball, marketable flavors (thankfully, this is not one of those).
