Hard to believe this is my first from MKE, but here we are. Even harder to believe that this 15 year old has just been bought by an 8 year old, Eagle Park. But micros are just full of surprises. No clue on MKE's website about what led to the acquisition, but the "About" page sounds like MKE will continue their craft under the new owners. I bought Pinsetter at Woodman's Kenosha on an across-the-border beer run.
Pinsetter is a decent dark lager; nothing wrong with it, but barely above average in every sense. There is a nice complexity in the malts. I paired this with a quickie dinner of broiled potatoes and applied sauces of honey mustard and BBQ. Both worked. I also give good Overall Hugs to wish Eagle Park a happy acquisition. I'd have Pinsetter again, but probably only with lunch. Cheers !

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours Pitch black with a light brown head. Smells of chocolate and dark roasted grain. Tastes of chocolate and some fruit, along with dark roasted grain notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
