Certainly an interesting beer; but one that's clearly brewed for the masses. It starts at 12 degrees Plato; has 4.2% alcohol; and a minimal 10 IBU's of bitterness that's perfect for a fruit beer. The body is a hazy red with a purplish cast; topped by a short, bright-white head that leaves some interesting rings of twisted, dripping lace. Very tiny bubbles rise in quick, steady streams throughout the entire glass - helping to maintain the thin surface covering. The nose is limited, but offers some mildly sweet and softly juicy fruit. The body is light and crisp - delicate with a very fine, effervescent carbonation. The flavor is juicy, but not sugary, up-front; fruity with some apple and tart berries across the palate; and backed by low-key bitterness. It finishes drying as the residual malt and fruit slowly fades away. Although it's quite straight forward (little complexity), it's still a refreshing and quaffable beer that's easily enjoyed while dining outside on their deck during summer.
