This is the standard McKenzie's Light Lager with a touch of lemon added. Its crystal clear and light-straw gold in color with a thin lid of bright white foam that dissipates quickly and leaves only minor lacing about the glass. Some light grainy malt appears in the nose alongside just the slightest touch of lemon. If you didn't know it was there you might miss it. In the mouth, it's light bodied with a brisk carbonation that leaves it crisp. The flavor delivers a well-balanced, mildly sweet, semi-grainy malt; and again, the lemon is quite subtle. It finishes short and dry as might be expected. It makes a refreshing first beer on a warm spring afternoon on their deck; and the ladies love it!
