Appearance: This beer pours a nice jet-black color with a darker/thinner head.
Smell: Nice malty bitter smell, roasted barley is rather prominent. Coffee and chocolate undertones.
Taste: Rather similar to the smell. Very good roasted barley taste with tones of coffee and chocolate. Great balance of hops and bitterness to finish it off.
Mouthfeel/Overall: Surprisingly smooth and great over balance between bitterness/coffee and sweet chocolate malts.
