Tap at the brewery
Big creamy thick head puffy lacing, retains well, semi hazy carrot orange color
Nose big sweet malt, candi sugar like sweetness, almost caramel, big candied orange zest, citrus, stone fruit little tropical maybe pineapple
Taste big malt sweetness, little alcohol fusel notes, toasted gristy grain, spicy very bitter hops, orange zest big marmalade candy, little syrupy, touch pineapple and apricot preserve, very spicy and piney as well, finishes sticky sweet, more toasted malt shining through with alcohol and bitter spicy hops lingering
Mouth is med to fuller bod, a bit creamy, fluffy carb, warming alcohol
Overall a nice well done dipa, alcohol is very much there but seems like it was meant to be, hop malt combo are nice and very in your face, like an anniversary beer is meant to be.
