Review from notes. Had on tap at Whole Foods.
A: The beer was a slightly hazy orange color with a very small amount of head and minimal lacing.
S: Pretty similar to most pumpkin beers, a bit of pumpkin and some pumpkin pie spices with a little bit of bready malt.
T: A little weak for a pumpkin beer, some faint spices, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, with not a lot of actual pumpkin flavor going on.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, pretty easy drinking.
O: A pretty basic pumpkin beer, good, not great and not offensive.

Pours a copper tinted orange, some haze, little head. Scent brings muted but balanced seasonal spices and pumpkin, a bit of sweetness hinted at. Nice flavor - biscuity malt works well with moderate spice and pumpkin, maybe a touch weak overall in flavor, but wins points for balance. Medium bodied, touch low in carbonation but creamy a bit. Decent, could be kicked up a notch.

Served on-tap at Old Forge into a pint.
A - Pours hazy orange with no head, thanks to a giant over-pour, that leave no lacing down the glass.
S - Just like any other pumpkin beer. Plenty of pumpkin with a light spice note that does not overpower the other aromas. A faint touch of bready malt and piney hops add a good balance.
T - Plenty of things going on in this one. Flavors are similar to the nose with plenty of pumpkin (obviously), a little graham cracker malt, piney hops, and the ever present light spices. While I would say the spices are the dominate flavor they play very well with all the others and do not overpower them. Very nice balance of flavors.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Fairly smooth with a bite at the end that lingers on the pallet.
D - While I enjoyed this one thanks to the reduced amount of spices compared to most other pumpkin beers I can't say I would drink it again. It just didn't have that pop that would make me order another. A decent pumpkin beer just not great.

A-Bright,orange kissed copper with a medium light tan head that reduced to a thin cap and left nice swatches of lace.
S-Fairly typical for the style but pleasant nonetheless. Pumpkin pie spices are forefront but not overpowering. A touch of lightly toasted biscuit malt and vanilla sweetness with some earthy hops that add balance in the background.
T-A well done balance of pumpkin pie spice, mildly sweet biscuit malt, pumpkin meat, vanilla and earthy hops. Nothing really jumps out and grabs hold of your palate. There is no question that the spices are primary but they quickly concede to the other ingredients and form a pleasantly balanced brew.
M-Medium bodied with a sharp bite and nice lingering flavour notes.
D-A good beer but something about it misses the mark for me. Maybe it's the melding of flavours with none really wanting to be the all out leader. Maybe it's the lack of creamy smoothness. Or maybe because it's simply decent and nothing more.
