On tap at the pub. Pour is dark transparent golden amber with a thinner tight bubbled yellowish head. The nose is a bit nutty up front, lightly roasted and a touch salty. Burnt Grains flow in with sweeter caramel. Taste has the same nut up front, more cereal like grain mid palate with some sticky floral hops and faint bitterness. Carb is assertive on a medium body and smooth feel.

60 IBUs, and you can tell. Comes out a slightly cloudy orangish gold under a 1/2 finger pale beige head that fades quickly but leaving very nice lace. The nose is spectacular, full of spice and tangy of pine, very strong and inviting. The mouth is very heavy and slightly prickly. The taste features lots of hops matched by sweet malt The hops win out in the aftertaste, leaving a very dry bitter taste in the mouth - begging for more. This is a fantastic beer, although it is slightly paler than it should be, making me wonder if it might not be better labeled as an IPA. Either way, it was delicious.
