From a growler same day as purchased:
Pours a bright shiny copper/amber with a creamy lasting head that leaves some lacing on the glass.
The smell is of mild citrus, herbal notes, caramel, cocoa powder and nutty.
The taste is malty - caramelish/cocoaish. Slightly nutty. Earthy, slightly citric balances it, though it remains more sweet than bitter. Finishes dry. Medium-bodied.
A decent, mellow ESB that is worth checking out.
