Plums & brown sugar in the flavour with a bitter finish
Decent solid mouthfeel
A thoroughly decent if old fashioned brown ale I'm Raising a glass of it to my great uncles
Who made the ultimate sacrifice
in the Great War & It is beer good enough for that toast.

Aroma: Malt, caramel, with a hint of vanilla in the background, slightly alcoholic.
Taste: again malt, caramel, with clear hints of plum and coffee slight sourness.
