From old, undated notes; poured from the bottle.
Light orange murkiness.
Nice white head; strong lacing throughout.
Nose of mild banana.
Medium mouthfeel, bordering on thin.
Taste of mild banana & clove; hops hit your lips with light bitterness.
Flavorful yet easy to drink, this is one of the more interesting Amber Ales I've had. A definite Belgian vibe, here.

Ahh, I should preface this by saying this was my first drink after a 12 hr drive with 2 kids and inlaws. It was however quite good. Smell and color and head I can't give the best review on because it was out of bottle into a plastic hotel cup. It was quite viscous feeling in my mouth and a very dry but balanced bitter hoppiness. Gives me the impression it would hold a head on its shoulders tho. I'm from Indiana and was lookin forward to some brews from a galaxy far away. Next up zip line porter and kolsch

Enjoyed from the 12 oz bottle in snifter via a friend from work THANKS RANDY!
Pours a cloudy medium amber with a nice head of white dissipating foam that subsides to a thick rin, cloudy layer, and very nice lacing. Nose of citrus zest of oranges and lemons, subtle honey, and light caramel. Flavors follow the nose with sweet honey and lemon/orange zest with a strong astringency note to the lemon. Caramel and lemon fade to an interesting musk melon note on the back with a lightly bittering hop note mixed with lemon notes. Unique. let this warm and be rewarded. It is almost a hybrid between a saison and an amber. Interesting.
Cheers

Pours an apple cider vinegar color, 90% opaque. Head is 2 fingers, off-white, leaves tons of lacing behind.
Smells of honey, lemon, mango skins, black cherry, herbs, and roasted malt.
First sip gave me a chunk of something. A rind? A sliver? I dunno. Tastes of vinegar, honey, amber malts, ending on pine and grapefruit lozenge. Actually a lot like Carmex and lemon herbs.
Feel is creamy and medium bodied. Light carbonation, dry finish.
I don't like drinking liquified chapstick. I'll not be having this again.

A: gold with a slight haze, 1” foam cap, off white, lacy.
S: Some fruit and spice, melon, faint cake.
T: spicy, melon to cake. A dash of pepper and then a nice bitter citrus rind finish
M: Creamy, medium body and carbonation. Dries on the finish.
O: I like a little more cowbell in my winter ales but this is drinkable and pleasant.
