I had this beer on-tap in my OBF pint glass at Oregon Brewers Festival. This beer was listed as both "Key Lime Tropical Blonde" and just "Tropical Blonde".
Appearance: quite hazy yellow hue with a thin layer of white foam; it's too hazy to get a read on the effervescence. Not a bad look, though.
Smell: sweet and super malty; mango and papaya, generally quite tropical. I don't taste the lime specifically, but it's definitely lending to the equatorial character of this beer.
Taste: very smooth and fruity, with only a little bit of acidity toward the end. Kind of the same mango/papaya thing going on ... it really works for me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and a super smooth creaminess which I just love.
Overall: a super refreshing, tasty fruit beer. If you like tropical brews (as I do), this is for you!
