Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear straw color with a tiny head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strong of a grainy and cracker malt smell mixed with a decently strong lime aroma. Along with these smells comes a touch of hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a crisp cracker and bready malt flavor paired with a decent showing of lime and a touch of caramel sweetness. At the same time there is a little bit of grain mixed in there as well, with all the flavors remaining rather constant throughout the taste and leaving one with a crisp lager taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and thin with a carbonation level that is higher. For the style and the low abv. the feel is good and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – A decent light lager overall. At only 3.8 % abv it makes for a decent summer session style brew.
