First thing is first. If it doesnt come served in a Goblet...send it back.
Great color...it almost looks like an apple cider. It has a very yeasty smell and you can tell its a strong beer just from the smell alone. Very malty and fruity flavor with a long aftertaste. Somewhat heavy for a Tripel, however only one or two should do the trick. However, this is one of those beers when the glass just isnt big enough! Overall, a pretty good beer and goes great with a pile of wings.

On tap, AOBF 2004...
Hazy apricot color. Small skim for a head, nice lacing properties. Some off-putting petroleum aromas, lots of ginger. Mouthfeel is slightly heavy for the style, with lots of peach flavors going on. Finishes slightly dryer with a little oncoming carbonation and some lip chapping properties. Still, a little too heavy, and fruity for a great Tripel in my book, though an agreeable beer overall. Better spiciness, carbonation, and a drying sense are what I tend to look for.
