On tap at the pub. Deep ruby-brown color. Smells of chocolate, grainy malt aroma and a bit boozy.
First sip was incredibly boozy. The alcohol was very hot and harsh, but died down over time. Flavor is sweet malt, some dark fruit and caramel.
Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Probably the highlight of the brew.
Drinkability was given a hit by the booziness of the beer. Not bad, but I didn't order another.
