look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 3.75
Had on tap at the brewery. Pours opaque, dark brown in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is smoky roasted malt and coffee. Slightly bitter, medium heavy bodied, low carbonation. Makes for a fine domestic example of the style. I prefer the Irish brewers for this style but very solid with excellent body.
