Pours a clear gold. Big foam. Sour aroma. Mild fruit body. Fades quickly to a sour finish. The fruit flavor is pretty weak. Finishes awful. I'm going to have to drink it fast so I don't have to taste it.

man i feel like it has been years since i had a new beer from these guys, and im not sure i knew they were doing pint cans, this one jumped off the shelf and into my shopping cart almost instinctively. i didnt realize then that its a fruit beer, guava and pineapple, nothing particularly adirondack about that. it appears to be a wheat pale ale sort of base, hazy and pale orange colored with a nice inch of white head on it and some high carbonation, plenty of body too when i drink it. there are some hops here with the fruit, just a little bitterness set against the fruit sweet, and with a complimentary citrus flavor that really brings the pineapple out in front of the guava. i like that i can taste and feel some grain beneath the fruit here, its stays beery and even light somehow despite that, and while its maybe lacking a little bit of refinement overall, i like the combination of flavors a lot and find it a pretty flavorful take on a summer ale, not a throwaway blonde or anything. not overly fruited but a little sweet through the finish, a crowd pleaser in my house. this is decidedly modern for these guys, i dont recall them doing this sort of thing years ago, but its nice to see them evolving to stay relevant. fresh and relatively unique in the style, lake beer for me!

This lovely amber liquid pours with a nice frothy head that quickly dissipates. Another very strong beer from one of my favorite places. LP Summer is a cup of pineapple juice. Not overly hoppy, and not unbearably sweat, but a nice refreshing summer ale. A highly drinkable beer for the people of the Adirondacks.
