A pale ale fermented with a Belgian Trappist yeast. Unique to this pale ale malt bill is an addition of Dark Munich Malt, which will add a slighltly nuttier flavor to the finished beer. It is hopped with Perle, East Kent Goldings, and Hallertauer Hops. It’s just a bit less bitter than the 46er.

Had on tap at the brewpub
smells funky like brett. decent fluffy head, looks like a straw yellow color. tastes like a saison, a little funky from whatever belgian yeast they used. The after taste was a little undesirable not 100% plesant. mouth feel was pretty thin with good carbonation. drinkability was medium.

A: Slightly hazy straw color with a decent head. Retention isn't great, but is adequate. Lacing is moderate.

S: Strong Brett character (though I'm not sure if Brett is in the brew). The funk is very dominant here, but doesn't entirely kill the malt.

T: Good balance. The funk isn't as overpowering here. Malts are present, but there isn't a whole lot of depth.

M: Medium to thin with a similar finish.

O: It wasn't a favorite of mine for the style. One was enough.
