Picked this up at a local beverage store, as it was on clearance. Since I love Ubo Ale, thought I'd give this a shot. Wow, this stuff was just plain awful tasting. Has a distinct sour taste, that continues on afterwards. I thought maybe after one or two, it would start tasting better (as I would get use to it), but it never happened. Bad from start to finish. Not sure what the brew master at Lake Placid Brewery was thinking, when he concocted this swill. Going to give the rest of it away, and just stick with Ubo.

12oz Bottle from CJ's Potsdam NY for $2
Appearance - Slightly hazy amber colour with a large size fizzy/frothy white coloured head. There is a high amount of carbonation showing and there is some fair lacing. The head lasted for around 5 minutes.
Smell - Breads/grains, clove/coriander, floral notes
Taste & Mouth - There is a high amount of carbonation and I can taste breads/grains mixed with some clove/coriander and floral notes. There is also a honey and a cit of clove/cinnamon. It ends with a somewhat dry grainy/floral aftertaste.
Overall - A decent beer that I am happy I picked up. A nice flavour that has just enough taste to keep it interesting, but still very drinkable.
