Amber orange color with a thick head with decent retention.
Aroma with notes of pineapple, mint and lemon.
Flavor with notes of pineapple, lemon drops, a bit of cinnamon, at some point faint coffee, nutmeg, white pepper and herbal hops. Dry aftertaste with a mild to medium bitterness.
Bordering medium body with effervescent carbonation.
Interesting take on a Saison, still within style. Not very bold, but not boring. Fruity, mildly spiced and not heavy on yeast.

Nice Saison from Brazil.
I'm usually not crazy about Wäls beers, this is one of my favourites from the brewery though.
It pours a dark ocher and turbid body with a whitey foam.
Smell is ok, I guess it should be at least more intense. Notes of Belgian yeast and pineapple are the highlights.
Taste is the best thing here. Yeasty and fruity, with notes of almonds, citrus and pineapple. Some malty character too.
Feel is also very good. Bitterness is not high, but tartness balances the feel quite well.
It's written on the label that this is made with almonds, lime, pineapple and coffe. The coffe notes are subtle though; I should say it's possible to feel just a hint of them, in the aftertaste.

I can't say no to Wäls. Guilherme was nice enough to haggle Paulo for a bottle and bring to me in California. To that I say "valeu pra os dois de voces!" A saison that's brewed with four adjuncts; almonds, lime, coffee, and pineapple. Coming out a 375 ml corked and caged bottle, on to the beer:
A small head which drops to a creamy lace sits on top of the flame torched orange colored liquid. The aroma doesn't seem much like a saison's, however it is pleasant. I get the pineapple, I don't get much lime, I also get this yeasty banana cream note which makes it for me.
Something's in the yeast, as it adds a banana cream flavor which eventually makes the canvas for the taste. There's some nuttiness found, and a few hints of vague tropical fruits. It's not rustic nor funky, but it doesn't need to be. It's medium bodied with an easy amount of carbonation running through.
Wäls 42 is a good beer on its own, no matter if you think this fits the saision or blonde ale category. A fun "lighter" alternative to Wäls' Belgian line of beers.
