375ml corked bottle served in a weizen glass.
A: Pours a hazy pale yellow to beige color forming a minimal white bubbled head. Minimal retention and no lacings left
S: Very malty. A little bit spicy. Strong notes of pale malts and honey. Some notes of flowery hops
T: Slightly sweet upfront. Sweet grains. A bit metallic. Strong notes of honey. A little bit spicy. In overall, a quite smooth beer. Quite malty but not sour at all, for a season. Bitterness is also quite low
M: Light to medium body. Low carbonation. Honey aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. Good quality beer. Quite mild and smooth for the style but still worthy

Pours a really murky, light orange/peach color, with a nearly white head of a finger that took some work to produce. Didn't really stick around long.
Aroma started somewhat funky, but just moved more fruity, with pear, orange, and pineapple. Yeasty esters were plentiful.
Tasted fruity as well, pear and peach, earthy Belgian yeast and maybe some bubble gum.
Feels medium, lacking in carbonation, though not flat. Not a good Saison feel, IMO.
Overall, quite disappointed. Just misses the mark on nearly all fronts, really. Unfortunate, because Sorachi Ace is great, so I know Garrett Oliver knows a good Saison..
