On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.
Pours a murky orange-red with a foamy reddish-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with grain, berry, red wine, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour berry, currant, and acidic flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, but I am only getting noticeable currant qualities in the taste.
