An OK APA that really wants to become an NEIPA. Had on tap at the Las Vegas airport.
Looks hazy and has an attractive lace.
Smells are limited to malt, not much fruit is trying to express itself.
Tastes refreshing. It cleanses the palate of the not-so-good food I just ate. That is helped by Feel with ample bubbles.
Hazy Knights could easily be an NEIPA except for some weak fruit aroma.
My first from JJB, I went on their website and it was basic. Claiming to be the only production crafter around Las Vegas (a place where a nation comes to party), JJB doesn't have to do much marketing. And judging from the imperial ABV in 5 of their 8 most rated beers on BA, JJB's strategy is clear: be the only high alcohol brewer in a desert town full of tourists. I didn't dislike Hazy Knights, it just tastes like something whose competition is the macros and the consumers are chasing something else.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
