Baby Sage

This multifaceted ale was made in collaboration with one of our former brewers to celebrate the birth of his son, Sage. We basically just sprayed each other with hoses and pulled pranks all day long for old times’ sake, but also decided to brew beer while we were at it. We made a classic saison with a yeast strain known for it’s particularly spice-forward phenols and light fruit notes, and added fresh sage, spruce tips, and black peppercorns along the way. What we ended up with was a beer made for good times and shenanigans, that also happens to taste pretty good.
