Pours a clear pale golden color with a medium sized white head that quickly dies out without leaving much lacing at all, that seemed more like apple cider than beer to me.
A light sour apple aroma, similar to some of those candies we ate as kids.
The taste is all appleish and apple cider, similar even in the light dryness that a decent apple cider has.
The aftertaste is a light dryness with hints of a dry apple with a note of sourness, kind of a worthy aftertaste.
Not really a knock down drag out get me drunk beer but definitely worth having a couple with dessert.

I really want to like the new local brewery, but its off to a rocky start. This ale, brewed for the Freakin Frog bar, pours a hazy yellow with white fizzy head. Decent retention at least. Smell was a mix of tart green apples with some sweet red apples, some yeast as well. Taste is on par with smell. Green tart apples and sweeter red ones (maybe Gala?). Very sweet overall, somewhat syrupy. For the most part the apple taste more like actual apples than fruit syrup. The mouthfeel was light and crisp, highly carbonated. Kinda felt like drinking one of the corked bottles of juice. Overall not too bad. A little too sweet and fizzy for me though.
