This brew is starts as a Belgian-style dubble with 50 lbs of Hersey’s raw cocoa and 80 lbs of raw raspberries. After the beer is done fermenting the brew is transferred onto 600 lbs of fresh raspberries for 3 months and then referemnted in the bottle.

Pours out a murky reddish-brown, two fingers of head.
Smells of raspberries, powdered cocoa - not much else.
Decent mouthfeel. A slight tang, similar to an almost flat raspberry soda, or an attempt at a Framboise. A good amount of raspberries in the flavor. Don't pick up on any of your typical Belgian flavors, though.
Aftertaste of cocoa. Sticky mouthfeel afterwards.
Don't think I'd pick this up again.

On tap at Pub in the Monte Carlo in Vegas. I was a bit apprehensive about trying it after the abortion that this brewery's imperial stout was, but hey, new beer!
Pour is a dark, murky red color. Light-colored head that doesn't stick around for long, leaving what looks like a big glass of dark raspberry juice. Though this could be my mind playing on me because of the beer's name. OK looking, though I would like for it to be clearer and have a longer-lasting head. Eh.
Smell is pretty nice. Big raspberry, though it takes on a different character than other raspberry beers I've had (e.g., Framboise de Amorosa). It's obviously raspberry, but almost as though it's a raspberry cough syrup. That sounds awful, I'm sure, but it's not so bad. A whiff of dark fruit and perhaps a bit of chocolate as well. Smells like it will be pretty sweet.
And it is, but not cloyingly so. Chocolate covered, slightly overripe sour-ish raspberries from a mediocre confectioner. This is okay - it doesn't set my world afire, but it can be drank. So it's got that going for it... which is nice.
Mouthfeel is okay, no major complaints. Medium to heavy-bodied. I'd actually like it to be a bit lighter on the feel, but this is serviceable.
Drinkability is not great. It was a bit of a chore to drink a whole pint of this stuff. It wears on you.
I think that if they could brighten up this brew a little bit it could be pretty solid. I'd like there to be more carbonation too, though this could easily be a problem with the taps rather than the brewer's intent. In any case, this beer isn't one I can recommend unless you're a raspberry fiend, and even then you're probably going to be disappointed. Glad to give it a shot, but this is something that I won't revisit.
