Bottle pour at Woodshop 8 held at The Hermosillo in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a clear brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with dark roasted malt, cocoa, and vanilla aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour dark roasted malt and marshmallow flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that seems to be showing some signs of infection at this time.

I just entered this as a new beer that Joseph James only produced a couple of bottles of for sampling by close friends and family. I am drinking this beer as we speak and will input a review shortly to modify this one. This 3.0 review was entered in order to input the beer into the BA system

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
