Appearance – Dark brown in color with a ruby hue but not much of a head.

Smell – This has a light but very sweet bitter chocolate aroma atop a coffee base. The coffee is very sweet and fruity, almost like a Lebanaes coffee (coffee and apricot liquor).

Taste – The bitter cocoa and smallish malts make up the backbone of this Porter. The sweet fruit (apricot?) is here along with a bit of coffee from the nose.

Mouthfeel – Flat and a bit too thin IMO.

Drinkability – This actually went down pretty well, but I wouldn’t call it a classic Porter.
