Amber color with a lot of rising bubbles. Dank, earthy hops up front balanced by slightly sweet malt. Medium bodied. Crisp finish.

a decent can of amber here, but really nothing special. so many breweries do this, make a range of cool sounding beers and then some really basic and generic amber ale. here is another one of those. looks great though with a huge tall rising tan head on it with great retention. less clarity than is normal in the style, but it looks yummy. smells biscuity, sweet like honey, and somewhat english in that there is some yeast present here in the nose. the flavor starts with a sort of tang to it, weird, has that cask sort of flavor and feel going on, with the crystal and biscuit malts running a little sweet likely due to an extended boil. flavorful as they go, less rich and deep than many, this stays on the lighter side of the style in terms of the grain profile. not much going on for hops here, a little earthy bitterness attempting to balance later on, but they dont come close. carbonation is a little relaxed here, but its easy drinking and super low in the alcohol. best when real cold too, i didnt like it as much as it came up to temperature. good not great.

Good session beer at 4.2%. 16 oz can poured out and straight from can. Probably my new tailgating go-to.
