A single hop Mosaic IPA that showcases the dominant aroma and flavor of Mosaic hops. Golden Promise and honey malts add a sweet, bready flavor which results in a medium bodied, highly drinkable IPA.

Pours a darkish orange, low carbonation. Aroma of mosaic hops and flavor is of the same with some sweetness. Beer seems a little sweet and reminds one of a india red ale. Overall pretty enjoyable although the lowish carbonation lends a "hop juice" quality to this beer. The mosaic is easily recognizable, pretty dank. Malt isn't really noticeable other than visually you can see it's a darker IPA. Good beer other than mosaic being what it is can be over the top and the lack of carbonation or body. Picked up a really banged up dented can at a total wine today while cell phone shopping. I think this was made a while back so I kinda wonder how dank this thing must have been fresh.

A: Pours a clear golden copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate amounts of amber highlights. The beer has a two finger tall foamy beige head that reduces to a couple of small to medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a mottled thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to slightly stronger aromas of dank/resinous, spicy, and herbal hops with light aromas of tropical/pineapple hops and bready malts.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of bready malts with a light amount of honey-like sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of hops - dank/resinous, spicy, herbal, and tropical/pineapple. There is a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness in the finish.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: Very enjoyable and very easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Well balanced with nice malt sweetness upfront and hop bitterness in the finish.

Poured into a Dogfish traditional oversized snifter. Bottom of can says Best By 04/03/16.
A- Pours a reddish medium amber color with a 1/2 inc light tan head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of surface foam.
S- Musty, somewhat spicy hop aroma with a distinct earthiness.
T- More spicy hop character with a restrained bitterness and a sturdy sweet malt backbone.
M- Slightly sharp from the hops with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.
O- Good bittersweet combo with more hop vibrance than other single hop IPAs I've had in the past

Pours darker than expected, more of a deep amber color topped with a beautifully creamy beige head. Smells hoppy: spicy, dank, and leafy with some pineapple and a little pale malt sweetness. Flavor is really pleasant...catty/resinous hops balanced by a honey and sweet tea finish. Smooth medium body with easy-going carbonation. Pretty nice all around.
