Pours into a nonic a deeply hazed burnt orange infused amber with a thick creamy-like light tan colored head atop, looks very menacing.A big splash of citrus hits ya in the nose along with caramel sweetness...maybe a hint of toffee in there as well. The feel is sublime thick and creamy almost stout-like,just fantastic. The one component of the beer for me that's not top notch is the flavor profile wich is a big thing obviously.Pine and drunken citrus fruits meet a big caramel and sugariness that kinda is the main attraction here, the hops are nice but the sweetness is just large and in charge. This is so close to being BA top 250 quality and for some it may be...but I just think the sweet heavy handedness in this and alot of others of the style keeps it from being off the chart. My opinion.

The beer pours a clear caramel color with a pillowy light beige head. There is lacing everywhere on the glass. The aroma is caramel, sweet malt, pineapple, grapefruit and and some pine. The taste is caramel and citrus with a lot of malt. The beer finishes with a nice pine bitterness. This is a decently thick IPA with good carbonation. Really nice beer.
