I got a can of this beer from my bestie. It poured a clear golden with very thin head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had faint grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's an ok beer.

At the brewery so nice and fresh.
Golden clear color and nice head with nice lacing.
Smells malty and bready.
Tastes smooth balanced, very slight citrus notes, enough hops to bring forth bitter.
Mouth feels like a classic pilsner, smooth and malt forward.
Overall, I would order again, because some times you just want a pilsner.
To be honest though, I'm mostly a IPA guy.

I'm honestly blown away in a bad way about this beer. The first taste was nothing better than a Budweiser after that it became very peppery and almost too much. I was very shocked, Lonerider's other beers are outstanding, but this one was terrible. I hope they figure it out.

It is FINALLY raining & cooling things off after another miserable hot & humid dry spell. I got a haircut today because I was so tired of the way that it felt in the heat. I am drinking this Pilsner to a) further The CANQuest (tm) & b) cool off internally. That is my approved pic that shows up for this entry, so that is also heartening.

From the CAN: "Brewed with Lemon Peel"; "Ales for Outlaws"; "Tight-lipped and stoic, our sessionable Saloon Style Pilsner has only one mission - quenching thirst. This straw colored beer, medium bodied and crystal clear, is sure to leave you wanting another."

I just wanted this one, first! I beCAN by Crack!ing open the vent & then performing a slow, gentle Glug. This was an active one, choosing to form two-plus fingers of fizzy, foamy, bone-white head on its own that quickly fell away to wisps. Color was Pale-Straw (SRM = 1 - 2) with NE-quality clarity & loads of CO2 bubbles in evidence. Nose was very bready, more like proofing dough than actual bread! It also had a light lemoniness that I might have otherwise glossed over, had I not noted the marking on the CAN. Mouthfeel was light, not watery, but appropriate for the style. The taste was lemony & bready, but I wished that it could have been just a tad drier. Even so, it was definitely filling my bill of being cool & refreshing on a hot Summer's day. I suddenly thought of @UtopiaJane & one of her salads. This would be great with the one that she recently made involving diced beets! Mmm. Finish was light, dry, thirst-quenching & about exactly what I had wanted. Its relatively low ABV makes it a Session Beer CANdidate. Nice.

a fine but somewhat unremarkable glass of pilsener. its got a bit more grain character to it than a lot of them do from the tap, but looks somewhat generic in the glass, a mostly clear pale golden color with a short and short live white head but a decent amount of carbonation rising up slowly and continuously. the aroma and flavor are dusty european sort of pils malt and just enough hops to give this a little bitterness and help it finish, really pretty subtle on both counts, but the grain has a light bready crackery thing to it that makes it not taste dumbed down or watery, and the hops make it feel crisp. the lager yeast has only a little bit of flavor to it, but dries this out rather well and thats really all its there for it seems. the nice thing about this beer is the low alcohol and the relative refreshment value, i could mindless put these away all night, but sometimes i want a little more than mindless pilsener, and im not sure this one scratches the itch in that regard. good not great...

Hard to tell it's a pilsner and not a pale ale
